EBP 2010

Apr 12 2010

The ice is gone and the courts are clear. Faster than you can say "3-2-1 Kill!" it's year two for Edmonton Bike Polo.

We're playing most Saturdays and Wednesdays at Ritchie, and if you're a noob, we have spare bikes and mallets for you to play/get addicted with.

For the moment, the best way to find out about games and times is to join our Facebook group page (yes, we know). All games are posted to the group wall and messaged out to members.

Alright. Polo. Here we go.

Fall Tweed – Edmonton’s second ride

Ladies and Gents!

After a very busy summer of riding, polo and racing it is now time for the fall tweed that I told everyone I would have. While the first ride was also the first event I have organized, by the end of this busy summer I have learned a few things. So lets hope we can make this one better than the last.

Alley Cat Poker Run

Sep 12 2009 12:00
America/Edmonton

September 12 will see the first Alleycat race brought to you by Broken Tricycle and the Edmonton Bike Polo league! An Alleycat is a citywide bicycle event that requires cyclists to navigate challenging routes in a race to the finish line. Speed, however, is not the only condition for success, as cyclists must also find a series of checkpoints and perform tasks at each stop in order to progress to the next stop. The first Alleycat was held October 30, 1989 in Toronto, and the idea quickly spread worldwide in cyclist, messenger and other urban commuter subculture.
